What your First Therapy Appointment will look like

At your first therapy appointment you can expect that I will be working with you to establish an atmosphere that will make it comfortable for you to let me know what it’s like being you.

That is my central intention. To get to know what it’s like being you at this particular point in your life. I do that, as well, through asking questions and through listening in a way that helps me to understand what you’re saying between the lines. By the end of the first session, we usually gain an early sense of what you want to achieve from the counseling experience, and how we can get there.
